The Christmas Series
Where: Organic Works Bakery - 278 Talbot Street
This afternoon workshop will put equal emphasis on theory and practice. Participants will help mix a batch of yeasted bread, shape the dough, and take home a freshly baked loaf. We'll study the fundamental principles of fermentation that will enable us to make sense of any bread recipe, including the ones we'd like to create ourselves. Fair trade, organic coffee included courtesy of Ten Thousand Villages. This workshop is limited to the first twenty people to register. A special speaker from Post Carbon London will join us. We will focus on SOL food: Sustainable, Organic, Local (where possible) with an emphasis on fair trade.
