The City Centre, is London’s first and only commercial building to receive BOMA BESt (Building Owners and Managers Association, Building Environmental Standards) certification. This designation signifies the property meets all of BOMA’s ‘Go Green’ Best Practices, and demonstrates that City Centre is moving towards excellence in energy and environmental performance through better management.
BOMA BESt certified buildings undergo an independent third-party verification process, and the certification exemplifies Redbourne’s interest in continuing their commitment to improvement of its facilities for both tenants and the community.
“As relatively new owners of City Centre, going through the certification process assisted us with understanding every aspect of operating the towers in an energy efficient manner, “said Peter Vandusen, Redbourne’s Vice President, Asset Management. “With our ongoing commitment to BOMA BESt we’ll now be educating our tenants about environmental initiatives, and they’ll have the opportunity to play a role in reducing our environmental impact and reduce City Centre’s carbon footprint together.”
